The newly amended citizenship act (CAA) has aroused fear among Indian citizens that it will deny citizenship to the existing Muslim minority communities in India. However, if one to dive deep into details of this act then it is clear, that it only aims to provide Indian citizenship to religiously persecuted minorities of our neighboring countries i.e. Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan, provided they entered India before December 31, 2014. Artificial Intelligence startup Staqu, has launched its proprietary criminal registration and search system, ABHED (Artificial intelligence Based Human Efface Detection) which will help police forces to opt for mobile-phone-based criminal registration, including biometric information. The app will provide every Police personnel will have its own login password to use the app for both, registering & search. The access can be controlled at different levels, with the mobile phone number of police personnel. The OTP based logins for profiling or searching ensure optimum security.
