Hackers leaked Game of Thrones’ season 7 episode 7 climax one day ahead of the finale

HBO hackers have stooped to a new low, leaked the climax of the finale episode of Game of Thrones season seven. It sure has been one bad season for GoT (HBO, to be precise) thanks to this cyber crime. The hackers have been threatening the production house every week by revealing either the entire episode or important details of the episode. Obviously, it’s quite a backlash for the channel as a lot of revenue is lost. While us fans waited with bated breaths for the finale episode, the hackers have ruined the experience of our wait too! According to Mashable, the hackers, who have access to about 1.5 terabytes of data of the production company, have leaked the climax of the much awaited season finale of GoT season 7. The latest leak involves details of what would happen next in the episode along with how the episode will come to an end. “Mashable has read the confidential summary but has chosen not to publish the explicit details,” the report said.

However, HBO still won’t cave to their demand of shelling out $6.5 million. “That’s a game we’re not going to participate in,” HBO was quoted as saying. The channel feels that by leaking critical information with respect to the channel’s shows, the hackers are trying to gain popularity. The channel, though, won’t entertain their demands.

The cheap tactics of the hackers has resulted in major loses for HBO. They have further threatened the channel by stating that their important contents have been sold to rival competitions. “By the way, we officially inform you and other hundreds of reporters whom we are emailing that we sold ‘HBO IS FALLING’ entire collection (5 TB) to three customers in deep web and we earned half of the requested ransom,” the hackers said. “We put a condition for our respected customers and they approved. We will leak many many waves of HBO’s internal stuff to punish them for playing us and set an example of greedy corporation,” they further added.

We just hope we don’t come across any of these spoilers ahead of the show’s airing. We definitely don’t want to know stuff before we have watched the show.
